Our family provides an effective learning Retreat for both horse training, problem horse repairs, and boarders to fully develop a sound Classical Foundation with strengths based on fundamentals Naturally - in an engaging, safe, and productive manner - while enjoying both the convenience of our location, and the serenity of our peaceful, secluded atmosphere.
Starting, Gentling, Foundation Skills, Specific Problems, Behavior Issues, Communication, Handling, Confidence, Tune-ups, Exercise, & Re-Starts for those especially Challenging/Difficult horses.
Located on 80 acres of varied terrain, our horse training facilities include boarding pastures, hay fields woods, creek, bluff, trails with natural obstacles, round pens, square pens, high tie, tack building with shower, "play ground," and indoor/outdoor riding areas. Ideal for problem horse repairs!
Horseman's Retreat is always advancing to deliver exceptional horse training results and develop the light, confident, settled horse that proves to be a winner in the pleasure trail, ranch work, dressage arena, or race track.
Since retiring from the military in 1997 we've had a thriving passion for improving numerous horses' lives, and their understanding to develop excellent companions and great partners for our customers - from trail ride guests in our last business to the 100 plus special needs of colt starting or the difficult/challenging horses in our current setting.
